Rockwell Automationreleased its new PanelView Plus 7 Series B graphics terminal, which features a significant number of improvements versus the preceding Series A graphics terminal that ran on the Windowsgraphics terminalCE 6.0 operating system that is no longer fully supported by Microsoft, and consisted of hardware components that are aging and have a shrinking supply chain availability and support. The PanelView Plus 7 Performance Series B was developed to help protect users who have invested in PanelView Plus hardware and FactoryTalk View Machine Edition software by extending the product lifecycle of the offering.

The Series B has been updated to run on a modern operating system and has updated hardware components with improved long-term supply chain availability and support. It has enhanced product security and support for modern peripherals, such as printers. With significantly increased user storage, the Series B can better support current and future needs. The Series B product uses ControlFLASH software for firmware updates that align with other Rockwell Automation Allen-Bradley products. There is also an improved ability for users to resolve any potential corruption issues with the addition of a hardware maintenance menu button.

The PanelView Plus 7 Performance Series B is the latest update to the PanelView Plus 7 Performance product line.
